Ronda Zelezny-Green Name and Pronouns (She/Her)

Dr. Ronda Železný-Green is a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) changemaker creating systems to empower Black people, women, people with disabilities, and other marginalised populations in the technology and education sectors. Serving as a mobile technologist, trainer, and researcher, Ronda’s 15+ years of professional experience spans five continents and the public, private, and civil society sectors. A Black and Native American cis woman excelling with ADHD, Ronda also has extensive experience developing and delivering action-oriented training that integrates the themes of racial equity and justice and gender with global perspectives. Hallmarks of her career include championing, coaching, and mentoring women in tech; learning with tech; and empowering people to use technology as transformative tools to live their best lives.

Currently, Ronda is the Global Head of Training and eLearning at the Internet Society. She is leading the redesign and the strategic scale-up of external learning opportunities. She delivers educational experiences that build capacity to ensure that the Internet of opportunity can benefit all. Ronda is also the Co-Founder and Director of Panoply Digital, a women-owned, socially conscious organisation leveraging expertise in tech, education, and gender to create sustainable solutions to development challenges.

Ronda earned a PhD in Human Geography and Master of Science in Practicing Sustainable Development with ICT4D specialism from Royal Holloway, University of London. She obtained a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional and Technology Design from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Spanish (Honours) with a minor in Non-Profit Management from Salem College.
